The Independent and Private School Forum Congratulates The Study Academy on Achieving Cognia Accreditation

[Toronto, Ontario] – The Independent and Private School Forum (https://ipsf.ca/) is proud to announce that one of its member schools, The Study Academy, has officially received full accreditation from Cognia, a global nonprofit that accredits primary and secondary schools and systems based on rigorous standards of educational excellence.
“School accreditation as conferred by the Cognia Global Accreditation Commission provides The Study Academy a globally recognised mark of quality for our school,” shared Jason Krell, Head of School. “It demonstrates our commitment to excellence to our community, our openness to external review and feedback, and our desire to be the best we can be on behalf of the students we serve. Our score of 320 on our first Engagement Review sets us apart from the majority of the 40,000 schools accredited by Cognia.”
“Cognia Accreditation is a rigorous process that focuses the entire school and its community on the primary goal of preparing lifelong learners in engaging environments where all students can flourish. The Study Academy is to be commended for demonstrating that it has met high standards and is making progress on key indicators that impact student learning.” – Commendation from Dr. Mark A. Elgart
This significant milestone affirms The Study Academy commitment to continuous improvement, high-quality instruction, and creating meaningful, student-centered learning environments. Cognia’s accreditation process evaluates schools on key performance domains such as leadership, learning capacity, and resource management.
To earn this designation, The Study Academy underwent a comprehensive self-study followed by a multi-day evaluation visit from Cognia’s expert review team. The team conducted classroom observations, stakeholder interviews, and evidence-based assessments to determine how the school is meeting the standards and how it is positioned to grow.
Cognia Accreditation places The Study Academy among a network of schools around the world that are committed to evidence-based improvement and long-term student success.
The Independent and Private School Forum congratulates the entire community at Lynn-Rose Heights on this achievement and remains committed to supporting schools across Canada in their pursuit of educational excellence.
