Summer institute Theme for 2022:  Education in the Post-COVID World.

The Independent and Private School Forum (IPSF) would like to invite you and your faculty to attend our exciting Online Summer Institute, which will be held on August 29, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Please join us for an exciting day of learning from the convenience of your home or your school. There will be 4 sessions, and you can choose all or whichever ones you would like to attend. There is no cost for IPSF members. Each session will consist of a 30-minute lecture, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. 

Session 1: 9:00 AM – 9:50 AM – Incorporating 3D Printing into our Technology and STEM Curriculum

Session 2: 10:00 AM – 10:50 AM – The Teaching of Inclusivity as Students Return to the Classroom. 

  • Ms. Janice Gladstone

Session 3: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM – The Teaching of History and Politics; Incorporating What We Learned From COVID.

  • Professor Peter Flaherty

Session 4: 1:00 PM – 1:50 PM The Teaching of Civics and History Through the Lens of the Current War in Ukraine (This is a moving and emotional presentation). 

  • Ms. Mariya Yordonova and Mr. Christian Bayly 

There is no fee for the Summer Institute for all IPSF Members and your staff. Please attend at no cost. Please let either Nicolas Esper (nicolasjonesper@gmail.com) or Christian Bayly (christian.bayly@gmail.com) know if you will be able to attend.
